Valencia Airport broke the one-million passenger barrier in April, recording a total of 1,039,789 travellers and achieving its fourth record of the year with a 10% increase compared to the same month in 2024.
International traffic grew by 13.4% in April with a total of 780,211 travellers Meanwhile, the domestic market recorded 256,899 travellers, representing an increase of 0.7% All figures refer to commercial flights compared to the same period last year.
Looking at the main origins and destinations of international passengers in April, the largest numbers were on routes to and from Italy, with 163,629 travellers; followed by Germany with 89,309; France with 86,375; the Netherlands with 80,227; and the United Kingdom with 79,495.
In addition, Valencia Airport operated a total of 8,076 flights in April, representing a 7% increase compared to take-off and landing movements in the same period of the previous year.
Data from the first four months of the year
Valencia Airport recorded a total of 3,472,631 passengers during the first four months of the year, representing a 13% increase compared to the same period last year. As for flights, 28,168 movements were operated in these months, 11.8% more.
