Just landed in Valencia?

Once you land, to leave the arrivals area follow the signs for “Eixida / Exit / Salida” and “Recollida d’equipatge / Baggage claim / Recogida de equipaje”.
The route is short and well signposted. If you haven’t checked in luggage, you can go straight to the exit.
If you’re arriving from outside the Schengen Area (the European free movement zone), you’ll need to go through passport control.
Collect your luggage (if applicable), exit the terminal and choose the transport that best suits your journey.

Where are the transport stops?

ust after exiting the arrivals area, you'll find all stops clearly signposted: metro , bus, taxi, ride-hailing services, private transfers, and car rentals.

All transport options are within a 5-minute walk from the terminal exit.

The metro and car rental stops are located on the ground floor of the terminal building.
Official taxis and private transfers are waiting right outside the exit.
City buses and VTC pickups (Uber, Bolt…) are also clearly marked just a few steps away, following the outdoor signs.

What is the fastest way to get to the city centre?

Taxi and ride-hailing apps like Uber or Cabify are the fastest options. It takes around 15–20 minutes to reach the city centre. Without traffic, it’s a quick ride.

Where do I collect my luggage?

After landing, follow the signs for “Recogida de equipaje / Baggage claim / Recollida d’equipatge”.
The belts are just after passport control (if applicable).
Check the screens for your flight’s assigned belt number based on its origin.

Can I pay for transport by card?

Yes, most transport options accept credit or debit cards. On the metro and bus, you can usually tap your card directly (contactless).
Official taxis also accept cards, but we recommend checking before getting in.
It's always a good idea to carry some cash just in case

Are Uber, Bolt or Cabify available at the airport?

Yes, Uber and Cabify currently operate in Valencia and can be used to get to or from the airport. Pick-up takes place at the designated VTC area. Bolt is not currently available in Valencia, although it operates in other Spanish cities. Check their app for real-time prices and availability.

Where is the metro station located?

The metro station is inside the terminal, at the far end near the regional terminal. Just follow the “Metro” signs inside the airport.
Lines 3 and 5 connect the airport with the city centre and other key locations.

Is there night transport?

The metro and bus services have limited hours. If you arrive at night, check the schedule for your arrival day. In that case, it’s best to choose a taxi, ride-hailing service or private transfer

What’s the cheapest option?

The intercity bus (Metrobus line 150) is the cheapest way to get from the airport to the city centre of Valencia. However, it's slower and less frequent than other options.

Are there any discounts on transport from the airport?

Yes. There are reduced fares for young people, seniors over 65, large families, and other eligible groups.
You can also use the Valencia Tourist Card, which includes free transport (metro, bus and tram) from the airport for 24, 48 or 72 hours.
💡 💡 If you're travelling with others or plan to take more metro journeys, a SUMA 10 card might be cheaper. It’s valid for 10 trips and can be shared by validating once per person.

Can I buy the Valencia Tourist Card at the airport?

Yes, you can get it at the tourist information points or book it online at a discount.
It includes free transport, free entry to municipal museums, and discounts on attractions, shops and restaurants.

Can I walk anywhere from the airport?

Valencia Airport is located a bit far from the city centre, so walking is not recommended if you're heading to central Valencia.
However, you can walk to the nearby town of Manises, which is right next to the airport.
Still, for comfort and safety, using one of the available transport options is usually the best choice.
